Built from real people and real work.
Your MCRep Score comes from verified reviews, completed collaborations, your portfolio and your experience. Algorithms don't grade your creative work, and you can't pay to raise it.
What goes into the score
Five signals, weighted like this. Most of it comes from the people you've worked with.
Review rating
Your average rating. Verified reviews count fully; reviews from people you never worked with count for a quarter. New profiles start near neutral, so one review can't swing it.
Verified reviews
How many verified reviews you have. The first ones count the most.
Completed collaborations
Jobs and collaborations on MCRep that were marked complete by both sides.
Portfolio
Whether you show your work: up to six projects count. This measures that the work is there, not how good it is. People decide that.
Experience
Your work history. For studios, how long the studio has been running.

Built to be hard to game
- Verified collaboration reviews - only people who worked with you through MCRep get the verified label.
- Bayesian ratings - new profiles start near a neutral prior, so one 5★ (or 1★) can't define you.
- One review per relationship - reviewers can edit, not spam.
- Not for sale - Pro plans boost visibility, never your score.
- No algorithm grading your art - portfolio feedback is private to you and never counts toward the score.
- Moderated - any review or profile can be reported and is reviewed by our team.

Questions about reputation
How often is my score updated?
Right away. A new review, a completed collaboration, a new project or a new experience entry updates your MCRep Score.
Can one bad review ruin my score?
No. Ratings are Bayesian-weighted: they are blended with a neutral prior until you have enough reviews, so a single review (good or bad) cannot swing your score wildly.
What makes a review “Verified collaboration”?
You and the reviewer worked together on MCRep - one of you hired the other. It works both ways: studios review creators, and creators review studios and clients.
Does AI decide how good my work is?
No. The optional portfolio feedback is private, only you can see it, and it never affects your score. Your reputation comes from the people you work with.
Does paying for Pro increase my score?
No. Pro boosts your visibility in search, but your MCRep Score comes only from reviews, completed collaborations, your portfolio and your experience.
